Bayern beat Augsburg 3-0 thanks to Kane’s hat trick – Vargas with a comeback

FC Bayern is moving further ahead in the Bundesliga. At home against Augsburg, coach Kompany's team celebrates a must-win.

The record champions dominate the game from the start in front of their own supporters. Augsburg's goalie Labrovic had a good evening and kept his box closed for the time being. So it's goalless at halftime in the Allianz Arena.

After that, FC Bayern managed to open the can. After VAR intervened, referee Schlager decided on a penalty for Munich. As usual, Harry Kane took the lead in the 63rd minute.

Vargas back – Kane ice cold as usual

With just under a quarter of an hour to go, Ruben Vargas comes on as a substitute for Augsburg. The Swiss international had been out injured from the team since the end of September.

In stoppage time, Bayern are awarded a second penalty. After a foul on Kane, Schlotterbeck also sees a yellow-red card. The person who was fouled steps in and converts to make it 2-0.

A little later the Englishman completed the hat trick. After a Goretzka cross, he controlled the ball perfectly and effortlessly nodded in to make the final score 3-0.
