Find the key figures before the third and final test match for the Blues in the fall of 2024.

– This will already be the 56th match between and Argentina, for a total of 39 French victories, one draw and fifteen defeats. There have already been two meetings between the Blues and the Pumas this year, as recently as July in Argentina, and it was the hosts who won the last confrontation to date (13-28 on 6 July, then 33-25 on July 13).

– The four France – Argentina matches at the Stade de France were very competitive, with two victories everywhere and always less than ten points difference between the two nations: 12-17 for the Argentinians at the opening of the 2007 World Cup, then 27-26 for the Blues in 2006, 13-18 for the Pumas in 2014 and finally 29-20 for the XV of France in 2021 (these last three matches in test).

The Argentines beat New Zealand, South Africa and Australia at the same time

– If the Blues were to lose on Friday evening, the year 2024 would be the worst for Fabien Galthié in terms of win ratio, since he would stagnate at only 60% over the eleven outings of the XV of France. On the other hand, in the event of success, the 70% of victories would remain above the 63% of 2021, but still behind the 78% of 2020, the 79% of 2023 and the 100% of 2022.

– The Argentines beat New Zealand (30-38), South Africa (29-28) and Australia (67-27) at the last Championship. This is a first since their integration into the Southern Hemisphere tournament in 2012. They have also just scored 50 points in Italy (18-50), a bar never before reached in their entire history against the Nazionale.

– Thomas Ramos has averaged more than sixteen points per game in his last four games played with the Blues, the two tests this fall (52-12 against Japan and 30-29 against the All Blacks) but also the two last during the Six Nations Tournament, in Wales (24-45) then against England (33-31).
