The prefecture of the Eastern defense and security zone has decided to prohibit, by zonal decree, the circulation of heavy goods vehicles weighing more than 7.5 tonnes on the A36 motorway in both directions between Mulhouse (68) and Saint-Vit (25) until 10:00 a.m. today. Vehicles affected by the traffic ban measures will be intercepted and parked in storage areas.
The prefect of Haute-Saône communicates this decree: the circulation of heavy goods vehicles weighing more than 7.5 tonnes is prohibited on the sections of the road network designated below from Friday November 22:
– RN 19 between LURE and the department of the territory of BELFORT in the Langres-Belfort direction from the intersection between the RN19 and the RD 619 (PR 74+500) to the limit of the department of the Territoire de Belfort (PR 99+980)
– RD 619 between LURE and the department of Territoire de BELFORT in the Langres Belfort direction from the intersection between the RN19 and the RD619 (PR74+500) to the limit of the department of Territoire de Belfort (PR 98+491)
– RN 57 between VALLEROIS-LORIOZ and the Doubs department
in the Nancy-Besançon direction from the intersection between the RD457 and the RN57 (PR 51+620) to the limit of the Doubs department (PR 82+173)

2,000 to 2,500 trucks are stuck on the A36 motorway in Franche-Comté.
