LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A widespread round of moderate snow and gusty winds arrives just after sunset this evening, bringing low visibility for those out driving. Roads will remain wet, but a coating of snow is briefly possible on grassy surfaces. Lows will be in the 30s tonight.
Friday is a raw day with cloudy skies, some patchy drizzle, and wind gusts up to 30 MPH during the day. Highs will only reach into the 40s during the afternoon.
Look for another cold one Friday night with continued clouds and lows dropping into the 30s across the entire area.
Saturday sees improving weather as high pressure nudging in from the west helps to break up our clouds and increase our highs temperatures into the 50s for many.
We’ll push the thermometer closer to 60 degrees on Sunday as warm air arrives, accompanied by some sunshine.
Our next big weather maker arrives Monday with a round of rain and even some thunder, but those traveling Tuesday should be in good shape.
Most of Wednesday looks good, too, however rain chances rise late Wednesday into Thanksgiving. We’ll watch this system closely as it could be another big rainmaker!
