It snowed all night in Botoșani

Last night, Botoșani county faced snow and ice under a yellow code alert. With an outstanding match against FCSB scheduled for this evening on “Municipal”, the local authorities have taken special measures to protect the turf.

City Hall employees covered the ground with a sheet, improvised with bags, plastic chairs and even a wheelbarrow, to prevent snow from falling. In the morning, teams from the club and the Sports and Leisure Directorate collaborated to remove the layer of snow accumulated over the foil. Pictures released by the club show the pitch being cleared, ready for tonight's game.
