Cristiano Ronaldo had a bizarre reaction after popular YouTuber Mr Beast told the footballing legend that he was going to die soon because of his age.
Earlier this week, Ronaldo announced that the next guest to feature on his popular YouTube channel would be a massive collaboration that would break the internet, leaving fans speculating over who they could expect to see.
While some fans had hoped that long-term rival Lionel Messi could be set to feature on the channel, it was finally revealed on Thursday that the guest was the biggest YouTuber in the world, Mr Beast
And now, one moment from the collaboration has gone viral online after the American influencer told Ronaldo that he was about to die as he approached his 40th birthday.
During the video, the Manchester United legend was speaking to Mr Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, about the longevity of his career and how impressive it is that he can still compete at the age of 39-year-old.
Taken aback by Ronaldo’s revelation about his age, the YouTuber joked: “Almost 40! You’re about to die, what’s it like?”
Initially, the Portuguese striker laughed at the comment, but quickly replies: “I’m going to live until I’m 100, just to let you know.
“In football, this is a long career because most of the time they retire at 33, 34 or 36.”
Reacting to the moment on social media, one fan wrote: “Mr beast you’ll be the one about to die.”
While one criticised the collaboration, writing: “Cristiano Ronaldo CR7 needing Mr. Beast for relevancy? What happened to my GOAT?”
And one joked: “Damn we really got Ronaldo and Mr Beast before GTA 6.”

Later in the video, Mr Beast also teases that he has planned the ‘biggest video ever’ with Ronaldo on November 30, just over a week from the release of the video on the Cristiano channel.
With over 331 million subscribers, the Mr Beast channel is the biggest channel on YouTube and has become known for it’s big budget videos that often see fans competing against each other for huge cash prizes.
But after the footballing great’s channel quickly rose to 67 million subscribers in less than three months, his title as the biggest YouTuber could be under threat.
Speaking about Ronaldo’s meteoric rise on YouTube, Mr Beast said: “I thought you would reach 20-30 million in the first month, and when you reached 60 million, I said, ‘Oh my God, the most subscribers in the history of YouTube. Before you, it was us.’”
