This was to be feared with all this snow which has been falling since the morning of Thursday, November 21, 2024. Many accidents have been reported almost everywhere on the roads in Seine-Maritime. Particularly on the A13 and the D6015.

On its website, Sanef (Société des autoroutes du Nord et de l’Est de la France) warns that three accidents are in progress on the A13, including one upstream and another downstream of the exits towards Rouen. The A13 goes into the “avoid the sector” category.

Roads completely stopped due to snow

D’significant slowdowns and traffic jams are observed while road salting actions are being carried out around 2 p.m. Concerning these accidents, they are only material, but have the effect of slowing down traffic even more.

According to Bison Futé, traffic is precisely totally paralyzed over many kilometers. The Rouen – Caen direction also seems to be the most congested.

But that's not all. According to our information, a car is in the ditch in the Épreville sector (Photo at the top of the article) near Le Havre. Another accident has been reported on the D6015 between Bolbec and Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc. In it, several cars are stationary and traffic is stopped.

Also note that significant disruptions affected the Normandy rail lines.

A train hit a tree, which caused the interruption of traffic between Rouen and Le Havre. Several trains have been canceled.
