As announced, the winter storm named Caetano is violently sweeping the west of France with powerful gusts, which appeared in the Vienne department around 12 p.m. this Thursday, November 21. The first trees began to block the roads, as we saw in Avenue du Chillou, a housing estate in Ligugé (our photo).
Half a dozen trees have already fallen on the roads
Since midday, the Info radar 86 motorist community has also reported a tree that fell on the road at the entrance to Vernon coming from Nieuil-l'Espoir, another blocking traffic between Montmorillon and Lussac-les- Castles and two trees on the N147, between Mignaloux-Beauvoir and Nieuil-l'Espoir towards Limoges.
