Overwhelmed, devastated, devastated: every time he is given the opportunity, Pierre Palmade asks for forgiveness. “All my life, I will continue to do it,” assures the comedian, who exposes his remorse, and also displays the face of the repentant. “I have the disease of addiction, but I’ve been clean for 18 months.”
The president refers him to his relapse in June 2023, and his trip to a Bordeaux club. “A relapse, after 30 years of addiction! It is exemplary”steals to his aid his sponsor in narcotics anonymous, whom he frequents three times a week. “He is a hardworking, sincere and humble man.”
The prosecutor recognizes all this, but also underlines the victims' need to see that justice has been served in order to rebuild themselves physically and psychologically. Her lawyer mentions “a man who has become the release of France for two years”. The court therefore ultimately follows the requisitions, with a firm prison sentence.

“Everyone was able to express what they felt before, during and after this dramatic day”
When the judgment is announced, Pierre Palmade, hands placed on the bar, remains straight, does not move. He then spoke at length with his lawyers. The comedian will soon be summoned by the public prosecutor of Bordeaux, where he now lives: the magistrate will indicate to him the penitentiary establishment where he will serve his prison sentence. Two years in prison, and three years suspended on probation.
Pierre Palmade also has an obligation to take care of himself, to work and to compensate the victims. Mourad Battikh, the lawyer for the civil parties, takes note of this judgment: “We are satisfied with the holding of the proceedings. It was a long day for my clients. Everyone was able to express what they felt before, during and after this dramatic day. The court arbitrated, and we did not comment to be made on the sentence.”
“I’m scared at the thought of going to prison.”declared Pierre Palmade during the investigation. The defense left the court far from the cameras and microphones. The actor, who emerged free from the hearing, has ten days to appeal. But this does not suspend the application of his sentence
