Tunisia’s Under-20 Team Defeated by Morocco on Day Two of North African Union Competition

The Tunisian national under-20 football team suffered a narrow defeat against Morocco, losing 2-1 on Sunday during the second day of the North African Union competition, currently taking place in Egypt and serving as a qualifier for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

From the outset, Tunisia faced a challenging encounter against their Moroccan counterparts, who showcased their strength right from the kickoff. Morocco took an early lead, putting Tunisia under pressure as they sought to find their rhythm.

Despite Tunisia’s efforts to equalize, Morocco doubled their advantage before the halftime whistle, leaving the Tunisian side with a mountain to climb. After the break, Tunisia came out with renewed vigor, managing to pull one back, but it was not enough to secure a vital point.
