The entertainment show broadcast twenty years ago on TF1 changes sets and channels but not its DNA. Tele-Leisure exclusively reveals the decor of the new bigdil.
An emblematic show from the 90s-2000s, Bigdil joined the group of programs that disappeared with the turn of the millennium. Since 2004, no new episodes have been broadcast. And viewers who are fans of the duo formed by Bill the Alien and Vincent Lagaf will be delighted to find an intact show at the start of 2025 on the RMC Story channel. If the location of the filming is now located in the studios of the Cite du Cinéma in Saint Denis, the enthusiasm seems to be identical among the aficionados of the TV game who registered en masse to participate.

On the set of the first filming of this new edition of bigdil, it feels like we're back in the early 2000s. Nothing has moved, neither the brick wall, nor the staircase which allows the candidates to leave the stage, even less the fireman’s ramp that Vincent Lagaf insisted on preserving. Regular viewers will recognize the central door which opens to let in Vincent Lagaf and his blunderers, or the settings of the events. But the highlight of the show is undoubtedly the sequined curtain which reveals both the most innocuous gifts such as garden gnomes, buoys or the most expensive ones such as stays abroad or the legendary car of bigdil.

RMC Story which will broadcast from the start of the year the new bigdil plays the nostalgia card. Julien Lalande, director of content and programming at RMC Story, explains to us: “It’s Vincent’s desire, he wanted to return to a formula that worked: “The one everyone talks to me about”. This is the formula from the beginning, with this set, Bill's saucer, the garage… The French are nostalgic for this formula. It suited us very well.“So neither is the musical theme of the credits”a little remixed but not much”nor the rest of the decor “brand new and built in France“, have not undergone a facelift. Only Bill has undergone a few small changes, he now has a cell phone and a new companion. Julien Lalande continues: “We welcomed his dog and the members of his family have evolved a little.
