Loto: 100 millionaires in a single evening… What is this FDJ operation for the 20th anniversary of Euromillions?

For its 20th anniversary, the Euromillions is offering a special jackpot which will make 100 new millionaires in a single draw.

This Friday, November 22, the FDJ and its ten European partners will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their continental lottery, the Euromillions.

And for the occasion, they are offering an exceptional draw which will allow 100 European players to each win the sum of one million euros for a stake of 2.50 euros.

This operation called “rain of millionaires” offers much better chances of winning and only occurs once a year, recalls the specialized site Tirage-gagnant.

A special code that can bring you big

To have a chance of winning at least 1 million euros, you must play the Euromillions this Friday. The draw for the 100 winning codes for this European “rain of millionaires” works in the same way as for the My Million draw.

When validating your grid, a specific code will be assigned to each ticket starting with “F” if you play from and will complement the My Million.

“The fruit of a collaboration between ten European lotteries, Euromillions allows you to win a prize of up to 250 million euros”, twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday, recalls the FDJ in a press release.

In 2014, the FDJ had already integrated the “MyMillion” game which allows, with each Euromillions draw, to guarantee a French millionaire in each session thanks to the drawing of a code.

The FDJ announces that, since its launch in 2004, it has enabled more than 1,400 French players to win winnings ranging from one million to 220 million euros, a record gain having been won in October 2021 by a player in French Polynesia .

France is one of the countries having won the highest number of Euromillions jackpots, with 129 winning grids, tied with the United Kingdom.
