José Garcia, matched with his sweet companion Camille, finds a cult partner of his career

This Wednesday, November 20 is released in theaters “The Panache”a film by Jennifer Devoldere with Joachim Arseguel, José Garcia and Aure Atika. “Colin, 14, enters a new school and he's freaking out: how can you get by when, like him, you're a stutterer? His meeting with Mr. Devarseau, a charismatic French teacher, will push him to face his fears and to come out of his isolation Now Colin has a group of friends and a project: to go on stage to play Cyrano in front of the whole school.. This is how the feature film is presented in which José Garcia plays the theater teacher who will allow Colin to gain self-confidence. Inspired by the film The circle of deceased poets with the late Robin Williams in the skin of John Keating, the actor explained that he wanted to distance himself as much as possible from this inspiration from the director. “It was really my obsession. There is a scene that resembles the finale of Circle of Dead Poetset It’s really a bit of a delicate moment in the film. because I really didn't want us to end up in there”, he admitted to our colleagues at Allociné.

Then to explain: “I I think that Devarseau is above all a guy who is much more in the look, in the observation, in the listening. He does not want to impose or give keys so that the students get carried away, disperse and break out of their shackles a little. (…) Keating's character wants to shake up the kids so that they live, so that they think differently, so that they move. Present at the premiere of the film at the UGC Ciné Cité Les Halles cinema in on November 19, 2024, José Garcia did not come alone.

The actor was accompanied by Camille, his partner for several years now. The lovers were both dressed in a beige jacket for the occasion and posed all smiles in front of the photographers. This preview was also an opportunity for the actor to reunite with Aure Atika with whom he shared the screen in The plume but not only since they have, among other things, played together in The truth if I lie. The two actors brought out their best smile during the photocall, an image that is a pleasure to see.
