The Caetano depression will affect Normandy this Thursday, November 21, 2024. Météo France has placed four of the five Normandy departments on orange snow alert. A layer ranging from 1 to 10 cm could hold. This snowy episode will be accompanied by icy conditions and strong winds. It could be intense but very brief.

The forecasts have been refined. This Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Météo-France placed Normandy on orange snow and ice alert for the next day, Thursday, November 21 and the passage of the Caetano depression. That morning, the first snowflakes should fall on the Channel coast and in the Cotentin from 6 a.m. before gradually shifting in the morning towards Calvados and intensifying in the Orne and the Eure.
