The movie Jaws terrorized thousands of spectators around the world. And yet, sharks are not the most dangerous species for humans, underlines Maud Fontenoy, guest on the show Pascal Praud and you on the occasion of the broadcast of a new episode of his documentary series on Canal+.
“We must not let this panic us (…) There are more people dying after dolphin attacks (…) Shark mortality is minimal, it does not attack,” explains her, returning to the appearance of a white shark off the coast of Porquerolles. However, “there are accidents, sometimes, when they are in a predation system, that is to say a place to feed,” adds the navigator.
