In Ziguinchor, Pastef offers 5 deputies

The various departmental vote counting commissions in the Ziguinchor region have completed their work. Better still, they published the provisional results. Across all three departments Bignona, Oussouye and Ziguinchor, the party led by Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko won the five deputy seats. Out of 145,072 validly cast ballots, Pastef came well ahead with 116,038 votes.

In Bignona, Ousmane Sonko’s Party recorded 58,966 votes, out of the 69,282 retained by the commission. He is followed by Takku Wallu Senegal 3607 and Jamm ak Njari? 2547. Pastef largely dominates within this department and maintains its leadership in this largest department in the region with 19 municipalities

While for the department of Oussouye, out of the 15,982 votes validly cast, the patriots won 11,262 votes. The Prime Minister’s party is followed by the Ensemble pour le Senegal (PEPS) party with 1,257 votes, which came ahead, to the great surprise, of the Jamm ak Njari? 710 votes and Takku Wallu Senegal 700 votes.

Regarding the department of Ziguinchor, Pastef won the 278 voting centers and obtained 59,808 votes declared valid by the departmental vote census commission.

On this quota Pastef stands far away with 45,810, followed by Takku Relief Senegal 3751 and Peace and Profit? 3726 .

All things considered, the 5 seats in the National Assembly of this region will go to Pastef.
