The province of Caserta recovers six positions but still places itself in the lower part of the Quality of Life ranking drawn up by Italia Oggi. Terra di Lavoro, in fact, is in 88th position and remains among the provinces that obtain an “insufficient” rating from the dossier.
The ItaliaOggi – Ital Communications ranking, in collaboration with the La Sapienza University of Rome, is drawn up on the basis of 92 indicators, divided into nine macro-categories: “Business and work”, “Environment”, “Education”, “Population ”, “Crime and safety”, “Income and wealth”, “Health”, “Social security” and “Tourism and culture”. One thousand points are assigned to the province with the best positioning, while zero to the worst one.
Caserta, in the general ranking, obtains a score of 267, placing it in 88th position. Coming to the individual categories, the province obtained a score of 456 for the environment (59th place and +8 compared to the previous year); for education the rating is 231 (94th place and unchanged compared to the previous year); for work the rating is 206 (94th place and +5 compared to the previous year); on the population the score is 433 (51st place and -16 compared to the previous year); income with a score of 263 (92nd place and +3 compared to the previous year); health the score is 624 (77th place and +29 compared to the previous year); safety with a score of 751 (47th place and +30 compared to the previous year); finally the new indicator on tourism and culture where Caserta obtains a score of 223 (83rd place).
As regards the other provinces of Campania, Avellino is placed in 82nd position with a score of 352; Benevento comes in 83rd place with a score of 350; Salerno is in 85th place with a score of 312; while Naples is in 95th position with a score of 169. The ranking sees Milan at the top followed by Bolzano and Monza and Brianza. On the opposite side we find Caltanissetta which closes the ranking together with Reggio Calabria and Agrigento.
