Sophia was the unfortunate victim of chance or rather of the last immunity test in which she came in last place. Long neck and neck with Cécile, the adventurer leaves Koh Lanta. She confided in Tele-Leisure.

Tele-Leisure : How did you feel before the weighted running event?
Sophia : It's been several days since my body started to give up on me. When I got up, my head was spinning. And it's a shame because this ordeal spoke to me. I often carry heavy loads, I'm athletic, I like running… Obstacle racing is my thing. But the beam test handicapped me. I had worn shoes with huge crampons, I was very disappointed.
How did you experience the presence of your friend Francesca?
It's a double-edged sword. We're super happy to see someone from our daily lives but when we lose it's frustrating and we feel guilty for making them come all this way. Today, when we talk about it again, it’s a very good memory for her. But we, at the moment, are in our adventure and we blame ourselves. There is a lot of guiltin particular for showing her that I was terrible at this test while she expected me to be strong.

Did this reveal to you the lack of your loved ones?
It’s true that it’s something I was trying to hide. I missed my daughter very muchwe are close and at the time of filming she was still little, she was 3 years old. I had never left her for more than four dayscalling him every day. There, not having anything, not even a photo, to visualize it for me was very hard. It's a shame because there wasn't much left to hold but we had a different sense of time there. It felt like it was never going to end and that I would almost never see my daughter again. It's terrible, our brain works differently with fatigue and lack of food, everything took on terrible proportions. The arrival of relatives did not work in my favor.
Did the rain get the better of you?
This is what I feared more than anything. We were very lucky because those were the only two days where we slept in the rain, but for the time being it was pouring, tropical rain, it made up for the days where we hadn't had any. At the mental level, it finished me. It’s a terrible combination of circumstances. At one point, I wonder what I'm doing here. It no longer made any sense to me, I no longer saw the end of the tunnel even though it wasn't that far away. I stood alone in a corner to cry, I tried not to show my vulnerability but it didn't help me.

We feel a little resigned, are you approaching the immunity test thinking that you can win it or are you at the end of your rope?
Frankly, looking back, I was fed up. I no longer had the nervethe fact of never having won an event also reinforced my point of view that I could lose. I conditioned myself negatively and I think that was my downfall. because physically I had everything to get there. My brain no longer worked, at one point I no longer knew where I was. I went over the test a lot in my head.
Did you see your friend again before she left after your elimination?
No, unfortunately it happened exactly as you see in the image, that's why it's very frustrating. So they came for not even 4 minutes! They crossed the whole world for a few minutes and what's more, they had bad weather!
