Solemn Albert, radiant Charlène, smiling Jacques… The Grimaldis reunited for the national holiday

November 19 is a major date for the inhabitants of the Rock since it marks the national holiday, celebrating the accession to the throne of Prince Rainier III, in 1949. Every year, the Grimaldi clan takes advantage of this day to get together, starting systematically celebrates with a mass given in Monaco Cathedral.

This November 19, 2024, the Monegasques were therefore able to see the princely couple, formed by Albert II and Charlene, climb the steps of the building made famous by the marriage of Grace Kelly to Prince Rainier. There they found the sovereign’s sisters, Princesses Caroline and Stéphanie.

Accustomed to long dresses, Princess Charlène this time broke with tradition by wearing a lilac-colored pantsuit from the Louis Vuitton brand. Her sister-in-law Caroline, for her part, remained faithful to her favorite house, since she wore a look entirely by Chanel. At their side, Princess Stéphanie chose to highlight her daughter Pauline Ducruet’s brand, Alter, by carrying a black bag signed by the label.

The star twins of the balcony

After the mass, the princely family returned to the palace for the traditional salute to the balcony. The opportunity for Jacques and Gabriella to make their first appearance of the day, they who are visibly still exempt from mass, despite the fact that they are preparing to celebrate their tenth birthday.

The children of Albert and Charlène had dressed in their big day outfits since Gabriella wore a pale blue coat with a Claudine collar accessorized with a bow in her hair.
