The Kuwaiti national team tests coach Salami

Moroccan coach Jamal Salami, coach of the Jordanian national football team, confirmed his team’s readiness to face the Kuwait national team today, Tuesday, in the sixth round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Salami pointed out the difficulty of the upcoming match, which will be held at Jaber International Stadium, stressing the importance of focusing on achieving a positive result that strengthens the Jordanian team’s position in the group.

For his part, Juan Antonio Pizzi, the Kuwaiti voter, revealed the absence of a number of his main players from the confrontation, including Sami Al-Sanea and Moaz Al-Asmaa due to suspension, and Salman Abdul Ghafour and Al-Hoshan due to injury.

Despite these absences, Pizzi stressed that the Kuwaiti team will work with all force to achieve victory and improve its position in the group.

The Jordanian team occupies second place in its elimination group with 8 points, while the Kuwaiti team is in last place with only 3 points, which gives a decisive character to the match for both parties in the race to qualify for the World Cup.
