T1 enlists the services of another star of the League of Legends site and prepares for the hat-trick.

T1 is currently preparing to attempt a feat that most teams would consider completely impossible. The South Korean organization is loading up and locking in its players and staff ahead of the 2025 League of Legends competitive season, in which it will attempt to be dubbed world champion twice in a row, with a hat-trick to the key.

In the spirit of this monumental goal, T1 has locked down its stars, recently announcing that Ryu “Keria” Min-seok and Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun will remain on the team for 2025, alongside Lee “Faker” Sang -hyeok, whose contracts currently end at the end of the next season. As it stands, only two starting team members have yet to be set, but things changed yesterday when it was announced that Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong had also been extended.

Unlike Keria and Oner, Gumayusi's extension is only for one year, meaning there is a good chance he leaves T1 after the three-win season. The big question now is what happens to Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, and whether T1 intends to further tie him to the team now that his contract is up this month. Given that Zeus has only ever played for T1, it seems very likely that he will renew his contract and extend his commitment to the team. There is no doubt that we will know more very soon.
