12:45 p.m.: Brocken – narrow-gauge railways are not running
The DWD warns of severe storms and hurricanes around the Brocken. Train traffic between Schierke and the Brocken was also stopped. A storm will cause windy and cold wet weather in large parts of the country on Tuesday. In the ridges of the low mountain ranges in the west and southwest there may be severe squalls. According to the forecast, it will rain heavily in the Black Forest and especially in the western and central low mountain ranges. Locally up to 50 liters of rain could fall within 24 to 30 hours.
