Cat’s eyes : Do Camille Lou, Constance Labbé and Claire Romain really sing in the karaoke scene in episode 4?
If Camille Lou had to climb the Eiffel Tower, Constance Labbé fell abseiling from a facade of the Hôtel de la Monnaie – she also had a few scares -, and Claire Romain did aerobatics on a skateboard, the three actresses also had to take on another challenge: that of giving voice. During a quarrel then reconciliation sequence between the sisters, the trio sings at the top of their lungs during an impromptu karaoke in the bar Le Petit Mazarin, run by Abel (Simon Ehrlacher), Sylia's boyfriend. And the three actresses really sing. If Claire Romain and Camille Lou have a nice voice, Constance Labbé's voice was less confident than that of her partners. “I laughed heartily, they sing too well and I don't know how to sing” Constance Labbé confided, not without humor, to our colleagues at Seriously. “I kept telling you: 'But if you have a stamp” Camille Lou reassures her. To which Constance Labbé responds: “You can have a tone and not know how to sing, or I think I can do Gainsbourg” before singing the melody of I love you, me neither.
Cat’s eyes : A reorchestration of the cult theme song of the original anime and a careful soundtrack for the new TF1 event series
As a nod to the anime, the opening sequence of Cat’s eyes revisits the cult theme song of the Japanese animation series from the 1980s, performed in 2024 by Anne Sila. “It is magnificent and incredibly well sung.”declared Constance Labbé to Télé-Loisirs. “The music is great. There was a real concern from Alexandre Laurent and even Jean-Philippe Gosselin to correspond to a colorimetric universe of the characters.” For the Karaoke sequence, the Chamade sisters' choice is an essential part of this activity: the title of Céline Dion, I will go where you go. The series also benefits from a very good soundtrack with classics like Take On Me from A-Ha, My Sharona de The Knack, The Crowd by Edith Piaf or even It's like this of Rita Mitsouko.
