Minute 32: Ianis Hagi is having fun! The son of the “King” dribbled the opposing defense, and after a “fake-shot”, he sent a cross to the second post. No tricolor was in that area and the ball left the playing surface.
28th minute: Loizou went past Nicușor Bancu and Valentin Mihăilă without problems and entered the box. A powerful cross followed, at the grassroots, but no teammate could make it work.
Minute 27: Andrei Rațiu crossed deep into the box and the ball stuck to Ianis Hagi’s ice. He shot weakly, however, from the half-volley, directly into the stands at the National Arena.
Minute 23: After a short corner, Ianis Hagi sent long to Andrei Rațiu. The defender sent a powerful effort from the corner, but the shot appeared to cause problems for the Cypriot keeper, who deflected the ball into the corner.
Minute 23: Good opportunity for Cypriots! After a well-structured phase, Loizou entered the box of the tricolors. His shot wasn’t as inspired though and was easily held by Florin Niță.
Minute 19: After a good passing game by the tricolors, the ball found Ianis Hagi. The midfielder shoots with power, but the execution was deflected by Daniel Bîrligea directly outside the game.
Minute 17: Ianis Hagi sent a dangerous free kick. The Rangers player was looking for goal #6, but his shot went just wide of the left post.
Minute 15: Andreas Karo sees the yellow card after a foul on Nicușor Bancu. A free kick follows for the tricolors from a promising position.
Minute 12: Ianis Hagi entered the box, after passing two players. The son of the “King” sought execution space, but was dispossessed.
Minute 10: The Cypriots went on the attack and Louizou sent a cross into the box. Florin Niță was in position and eliminated any kind of danger.
Minute 2: GOOOL Romania! Daniel Bîrligea was served perfectly by Valentin Mihăilă. The striker from FCSB positioned himself perfectly near the box and shot from the first. The result of the test can be seen on the table.

The original news
The Romanian national team has two important absences for Monday night’s match against Cyprus: starters Dennis Man and Nicolae Stanciu, the last captain of the national team, will not be able to be used.
The FRF announcement about the absences of Dennis Man and Nicolae Stanciu
“Dennis Man, the right winger registered at AC Parma, left the training camp of the tricolors after being suspended for this match. The suspension came as a result of his second yellow card in this edition of the competition, most recently in the game against Kosovo, which did not end on the pitch.
The Romanian Football Federation requested official clarifications from UEFA regarding this situation, and the answer came last night, before the training session. Following the confirmation of the suspension, Dennis Man left the training camp in Mogoșoaia and will join his colleagues from the club team today.
Another bad news for the selector Mircea Lucescu is the unavailability of Nicolae Stanciu. Injured in the match with Kosovo, the captain of the national team will not be able to perform against Cyprus. However, Stanciu will stay with his colleagues in the camp”stated the FRF on the official website.
