Between Marine Le Pen and Anne-Claire Coudray, the flow is not flowing… and this is not new. The president of the RN is implicated in the trial of the parliamentary assistants of her party. On November 15, the Paris prosecutor’s office requested five years in prison, three of which were suspended, and five years of ineligibility. A fine of 300,000 euros was also requested. If the court decided to apply these requisitions, Jean-Marie Le Pen’s daughter would not be able to run in the 2027 presidential election. A possibility that revolts her. She highlighted this in the 8 p.m. news on TF1 on November 15, and the tone very quickly rose between her and the journalist. Pugnacious, the latter recalled that the party was accused of having embezzled more than 4.5 million euros of public money. Faced with her guest’s justifications, she recalled the facts. “The prosecutor believes that you have not provided sufficient evidence [de] material work.“ And to insist: “It’s taxpayer money!”
An insistence which greatly displeased Marine Le Pen, who very quickly lost patience. “But madam, madamshe replied, raising her voice and cutting the journalist off. We didn’t get a penny more than we were entitled to for hiring.” The two women have a history since Anne-Claire Coudray was surprisingly excluded from the debate between the two rounds of the 2017 presidential election. The debate between Marine Le Pen and Emmanuel Macron was moderated by Nathalie Saint-Cricq and Christophe Jakubyszyn. At the end of April 2017, The Parisian told us that journalist Anne-Claire Coudray would not participate in the debate between the two rounds: “the FN [ancien nom du parti] would have vetoed it” and Marine Le Pen “would not appreciate the journalist’s alleged macronism”.

Anne-Claire Coudray deprived of debate: how did she react?
Anne-Claire Coudray, who initially remained silent on the subject, reacted in The Great Media Direct of Europe 1. She had ensured “not to be aware” and said to ignore “yes the discussion to[vait] been until the veto”. More recently, in March 2022, as the between-rounds of a new presidential election approached, she reiterated on this radio her enthusiasm at the prospect of presenting the debate. “I am above all a candidate to host all the debates or all the showsshe confided. If they offer it to me this time, I’ll say yes!”
