Gloomy and rainy weather takes over today with the week bringing frequent chances for rain and a big drop in temperatures.
After a foggy start, gloomy skies remain as cloudy skies settle in. Rain showers join us later this morning especially after 9 a.m. Pockets of heavy rain are possible.
Rain continues into the early afternoon with areas of moderate to heavy rain expected. A brief break is possible near sunset with more rain to build back in.
Heavy rain is possible once again with a chance for a few imbedded storms to bring rumbles of thunder. Rain will tapper off into the early morning hours of Tuesday. We can’t rule our an isolate shower or two during the morning commute.
Most of Tuesday is trending to stay dry and mild. Highs climb back into the 60s before temperatures drop.
As the next system approaches, much colder temperatures also move in. Temperatures will remain in the 40s during the day by Wednesday and beyond.
Chances for rain return late Wednesday and with the cold temperatures, a rain and snow mix is possible into the evening. A few snowflakes are possible into early Thursday. Accumulations, if any, will stay very low.
Most of Thursday will stay dry and mostly cloudy. Clouds remain through Friday and the weekend with afternoon highs settling into the 40s.
