Winter is setting in in Nice and the rest of the Alpes-Maritimes. The sun continues to shine, yes, but temperatures are dropping, announces Météo France. Update on the weather Monday 18 to Sunday 24 November.

Between 15°C and 18°C ​​in Nice all week

As usual, it will be best on the coast this Monday and Tuesday, since the mercury will indicate between 16°C (Tuesday in Théoule-sur-Mer) and 18°C ​​(in Nice on both days). It will be 0°C in Guillaumes and Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée this Monday afternoon, 8°C in Tende, Colmars and Saint-Auban on Tuesday.

However, temperatures will drop very quickly on Wednesday, with falling to the coldest 2°C in Colmars, 5°C in Saint-Auban, 11°C in Seillans and, at the hottest, 17°C in Nice in the afternoon. They will not come back until Saturday.

The sun will be generally veiled on Tuesday, before the first clearings appear on Wednesday. Friday will be particularly pleasant, with sunshine across the entire territory.

Scattered rain on Thursday night

Who says refreshment also means arrival of rain in several portions of the department. It will rain on Wednesday morning in Puget-Théniers (8°C), Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée (13°C), Saint-Etienne-sur-Tinée (5°C), Colmars and Guillaumes (2°C).

The rain will then stop and resume Thursday afternoon. It will continue through the night, and will also move across the entire southern half of the Alpes-Maritimes. The entire department will be affected from Saturday evening, with temperatures between 8°C and 16°C on Sunday afternoon.

-10°C in Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée one night

The night will be cold, with temperatures sometimes negative (-2°C in Colmars, Guillaumes and Saint-Auban, – 1°C in Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée) or just positive (1°C in Roquebillière and Tende) .

The worst is to be expected during the night from Friday to Saturday with -10 in Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée, -6°C in Colmars and just 6°C) in Grasse. Flakes (Saint-Auban) or even snow (Colmars) are expected Thursday morning.

Finally, the weekend will not be very happy. Prepare your umbrellas: the sky will be very cloudy on Saturday and it will even rain on Sunday across the entire department.
