“We will continue to oppose” to the agreement on Mercosur, said the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, visiting Argentina this Sunday, November 17, 2024. Asked whether the European Union could override the French position, the French president Emmanuel Macron responded “I don’t think so”saying “acknowledge the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen with great respect for France”.
There is great concern in the agricultural world about this free trade agreement that several European countries, including Germany and Spain, hope to sign by the end of the year.
