In the live of the Star Academy broadcast on TF1+ this Sunday, November 17, Julie told her comrades about her meeting with Patrick Bruel at the Zénith in Dijon. The candidate revealed that she encountered a size problem before going on stage.
Last week, Julie won first place in the student rankings of the Star Academy thanks to his performance on I'll tell you anyway by Patrick Bruel during the evaluations. A place which earned him a nice gift from the singer. “It would give me great pleasure to invite you to sing with me on Saturday evening at the Zénith in Dijon,” Patrick Bruel proposed to him after having been “extremely” affected by the candidate’s performance. After winning immunity for alumni week during the prime, Julie joined the artist this Saturday, November 16 on stage at the Zénith in Dijon. An experience that she recounted to her comrades this Sunday morning in the live broadcast of the Star Academy broadcast on TF1+.
Julie (Star Academy) reveals the problem she encountered before going on stage with Patrick Bruel
After a long drive from Dammarie-les-Lys, Julie found Patrick Bruel at the Zénith in Dijon. Unfortunately, the candidate of the Star Academy faced a major problem before going on stage. “The show started at 8:15 p.m., it was 7:30 p.m. and I still wasn’t ready, I hadn’t eaten yet either”she explained to her comrades upon waking up before continuing: “I see the hours passing, 7:50 p.m. and I'm still not ready. The show starts at 8:15 p.m. and I have to go into the room to watch so I have to be ready first.” A situation which caused panic among the Swiss who ultimately decided to prepare as quickly as possible. “I prepared myself and did my own makeup for my first Zénith […] I didn't wear anything, I just had time to put on my lipstick, I almost entered the room with my headband to hold my hair in place.”she said.
Julie (Star Academy) impressed by her meeting with Patrick Bruel
Finally, Julie enjoyed sharing the stage with Patrick Bruel even if she was “frustrated” by a false note during his performance at the Zénith in Dijon. “Emotions are crazy. You have a mixture of joy and at the same time you're like: 'Oh my God, what's happening?' I want to enjoy this moment and at the same time I didn’t see it pass”she detailed her experience. Finally, Julie revealed the advice Patrick Bruel gave her during their meeting: “Write songs because you’re going to go far, you need to start writing.” Words that really touched the candidate: “It was so cute.”
