At midday, the first participation rates for the early legislative elections of this Sunday, November 17, 2024 were announced in several departments. These figures, taken at 12 p.m., show a still timid mobilization across the country.

- Goudiry : 25%
- Bakel: 18%
- Koumpentoum : 25%
These data reflect a disparity in participation depending on the locality. Oussouye stands out with the highest rate, while departments like Pikine and Podor remain below the 20% mark.
Electoral authorities are hoping for an increase in attendance in the afternoon, a traditionally busier period at polling stations. The political issues of these legislative elections, in particular to give a majority to the president or the opposition, could encourage more voters to go to the polls before the poll closes at 6 p.m.
