During this day, Claude Ligot, butcher for 42 years, guided the participants through the different stages of production. From the preparation workshop to the fridges and smoking rooms, every corner of the establishment revealed artisanal know-how passed down for three generations. Founded by his grandfather, then taken over by his father, the butcher’s shop is today a pillar of local tradition. Claude Ligot also took the time to answer the many questions from fans who came to celebrate this heritage.
Awarded two gold medals for its Ardennes ham and holder of the artisan label, the Ligot butcher shop embodies the excellence of the trade. This special day aimed to highlight family know-how and share with visitors the love of a job well done.
