To remember from this day
-fewer frosts than Saturday morning
– rainy passage north of the Loire
– strengthening of the wind near the English Channel
– more clouds in the southwest
This morning
From the Aquitaine basin to the Grand Est, you wake up under the clouds with a little rain from the Paris basin to Lorraine. Near the Channel, after several days of gray weather, you find some clearings. Everywhere else it is fine after the clouds have dissipated in the plains and valleys.
Temperatures will range from 2 to 5°C from Midi-Pyrénées to Alsace with small local frosts at 10°C to 12°C on the shores of the Mediterranean.
Risk of rain in the north © the weather channel
This afternoon
Clouds invade most of the country, accompanied by scattered light rains from the Grand Est to the north of Rhône-Alpes and some drizzle from Limousin to the Aquitaine basin. From Brittany to the north of the Paris basin in Hauts-de-France, you benefit from some clearings, but the wind is getting stronger in the Channel. In the south-east, you enjoy the sunshine found between Languedoc, Roussillon and Provence-Alpess Côte d'Azur. In Corsica, you have a few showers.
We expect from 7°C in Alsace in the rain to 20°C near the Mediterranean where you still benefit from a little mildness.
Soirée
Your evening takes place under the clouds, with a possible drop or two here and there. The wind reaches 60 km/h in gusts between the Channel coasts, Alsace and Franche-Comté. In the south-east, weather conditions are calm under increasingly cloudy skies.
Further trend
After a generally calm Monday, except in the north, the weather changes radically from Tuesday with the arrival of a vast low pressure system which plunges over France. It will bring rain, snow at ever lower altitudes and gales. A situation to watch out for, which could lead to bad weather.
