Should there still be goals? Germany asked this question out loud to a defenseless Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Germans destroyed their opponent from start to finish. Ultimately, the counter ended at 7 in a true gala evening with a group win in Freiburg.

2 minutes and a handful of seconds.

Bosnia and Herzegovina could not dream of a stunt against the great Germany for much longer. The youngster of the Nations League group hoped for a compact evening in Freiburg – and who knows, maybe points, but it turned out to be more of an open day.

He kicked, or rather: headed, Jamal Musiala. Before halftime, the Bosnian goalkeeper had to turn twice.

But the agony of the man between the posts? That was far from over.

Shortly after halftime, Florian Wirtz put himself behind a free kick. The German aimed and found the farthest corner. The goalkeeper wasn’t in a great position, but the German fans still cheered with joy.

They would do that three more times: (once again) Wirtz, Sané and Kleindienst recorded the hard 7-0 figures. Then Julian Nagelsmann’s team decided it was enough.

The statement had already been made and the group win in group 3 was assured.
