Fans called for Neeraj Goyat to be banned from boxing after his bizarre stunt when facing Whindersson Nunes on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson undercard.
Paul and Tyson meet in a historic professional showdown at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, with 31-year age gap, but one objective to secure a big KO in front of the huge crowd.
On the undercard, Goyat and Nunes met in a high-profile professional showdown, with little to separate the two inexperienced stars.
Nunes was the underdog against the experienced Indian, who had 26 professional fights on his record going into the clash with 20 wins, 4 defeats and two draws.
It became clear he had been overmatched as the first bell rang, with Goyat on top from the opening bell.
But one moment saw the fight go viral on social media, with Goyat’s bizarre antics leaving fans stunned.
Nunes retreated to the corner with his rival putting the pressure on but he decided to turn his back.
And as the Brazilian faced the corner of the ropes, Goyat decided to come up behind him and bizarrely thrust his hips towards him.
It was a move that left commentary simply stunned and speechless, and fans around the world couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
One wrote: “That has to be the weirdest thing ever.”
Another added: “Nunes got humiliated what on earth.”
A fan continued: “Disrespectful! Wish he could punch so we could have seen a KO!”

Fans slammed the move, with another writing: “That was the worst fight I have ever seen, crazy that was the best they could come up with.”
One demanded: “Point needed to be deducted.”
A viewer added: “Surely he has to get banned for that.”
One final user concluded: “He should have been disqualified. Shocking to see and a mockery of boxing.”
Goyat did not face any action on the night, and ultimately went on to get his hand raised.
The Indian star punished his rival, who was simply out of his depth but was able to survive the six-round bout.

He was awarded the wide decision on a 60-54 scorecard, in a fight that was all one way traffic.
Goyat’s trajectory has been remarkable, given he has already made history by becoming the first boxer from India to be named in the WBC rankings.
It was a huge platform, with the pair duelling on a night where all focus was on the return of 58-year-old heavyweight legend Tyson.
