Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Pepe, Shiba Inu: Which cryptocurrency do Benzinga readers think will gain the most by the end of 2025?

Benzinga readers predict further gains for the Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) after the world's leading cryptocurrency surpassed multiple new all-time highs following the re-election of Donald Trump.

On November 13, Bitcoin reached a new all-time high of $93,434.36. Before that, it had broken various barriers in the $80,000 range.

Bitcoin recently asked its readers: “Which cryptocurrency do you think will see the biggest price increase by the end of 2025?”

The votes were distributed as follows:

  • Bitcoin : 40 %
  • Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) : 36 %
  • Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) : 11 %
  • Pepe Coin (CRYPTO: PEPE) : 8 %
  • Shiba Inu Coin (CRYPTO: SHIB) : 7 %

The survey named Bitcoin as the big winner, despite an already significant rise in the cryptocurrency over the past year, which has seen it approach its all-time highs.

Dogecoin finished in second place with 36% of the votes. Dogecoin has seen a sharp rise over the past week and year, but it is still trading below its all-time highs.

The fact that Bitcoin won the poll should come as no huge surprise. Another Benzinga poll found that 73% of its readers believed that Bitcoin would reach $100,000 before the end of 2024, adding to the year's gains.

Here are the current prices, seven-day returns, year-to-date returns and all-time highs for the cryptocurrencies in the survey.

Prix (15/11/24) 7 day yield Return over the year All-time highs (price and date)
Bitcoin 90 570,10 $ +17,4 % +105,2 % 93 434,36 $, 13/11/24
Dogecoin 0,3720 $ +88,9 % +304,3 % 0,7376 $, 08/05/21
Ethereum 3 052,10 $ +2,8 % +29,9 % 4 891,70 $, 16/11/21
Pepe 22,1 $ +106,1 % +1 481,9 % 25,24 $, 13/11/24
Shiba Inu 24,29 $ +28,7 % +127,6 % 25,17 $, 27/10/21

The table shows that Bitcoin and Pepe have recently reached their all-time highs. Dogecoin, Ethereum and Shiba Inu are still trading below their all-time highs, which were breached in 2021, a memorable year for the cryptocurrency sector.

Time will tell if Benzinga readers are correct in predicting that Bitcoin will likely become the largest cryptocurrency.
