National League on Friday – Davos ends ZSC’s home series – lightning goals in Freiburg – Sport

• The ZSC Lions lose the top game of the National League against Davos 2:3 nV and have to leave the ice as losers for the first time after winning 25 home games.
• Because Lausanne lost in Zug, the ZSC still led the table again, tied on points with Davos and the Vaudois team.
• Two lightning goals were scored between Freiburg and Bern: after 23 seconds the score was already 1-1.

ZSC Lions – Davos 2:3 aet

24 hours after losing the league lead, the ZSC Lions are again leaders of the National League – despite losing the top battle against Davos. The Graubünden team won the duel between the two teams currently in the strongest form in Zurich and inflicted a home defeat on the Lions that had not been seen for a long time. Michael Fora scored the winning goal in the last second of overtime. ZSC last lost a home game on January 20th, after which they strung together no less than 25 wins in a row against their own team. The Davos team’s current record is also impressive: the win against the Lions was their 7th win in a row. Of the last 10 games, only one was lost. The Zurich team, for their part, have to admit that after 6 wins in a row they have now lost both top games. On Thursday the Lions suffered a defeat against Lausanne. The “Zett” is the leader again, but Davos and Lausanne are lurking behind with equal points.

Zug – Lausanne 6:2

Two days after the embarrassing 1:6 against SCB, the EVZ made peace with the home crowd again. The central Swiss made the difference in the clear win against the former leader Lausanne with 4 goals in the middle third as they went from 1:1 to 5:2. Lausanne goalkeeper Antoine Keller played a decisive role in the goals from Fredrik Oloffson and Lino Martschini (both 38th). The 20-year-old deflected the disc into his own goal twice within 24 seconds and was replaced by Kevin Pasche for the final third. But this too was defeated in the final third by Oloffson – who had not scored a goal of the season before the game.

Fribourg-Gottéron – Bern 5:4 nP

Lugano – Biel 6:3

The game in Ticino started 10 minutes late due to the guests’ late arrival. Unlike the Zealanders, Lugano was ready on the spot. Luca Fazzini took advantage of the guests’ first penalty after 32 seconds to take the lead before the end of the first minute of the game. In the middle third, the Biel team took the lead for the first and only time that evening thanks to a double strike from Toni Rajala (23rd/27th). Jesper Peltonen a brace (29th/36th)

• SCL Tigers – Rapperswil-Jona Lakers 4:5 n.V.: It wasn’t enough for Langnau to win, but at least the Emmental team ended a goal drought that had lasted three games.
• Kloten – Ajoie 5:2: When coach Greg Ireland made his debut, the Jurassians failed to string together three wins in a row for the first time this season.
