EXCLUDED – Jacques Villeret dead at 53, his son Alexandre still in mourning: “I wasn’t ready to experience that”

Difficult grief. In January 2005, lost one of its greatest actors, Jacques Villeret, who died tragically at the age of 53 following internal bleeding linked to liver disease. A death as brutal as it was sudden, leaving the world of cinema but also his family in inconsolable grief. And for his adopted son, Alexandre, the mourning is still just as complicated.

Jacques Villeret can't watch his father's films: “It's complicated…”

Guest on the show It starts today last Friday October 18, Alexandre Villeret confided to Faustine Bollaert that he still had a little difficulty watching the films of his father, who died suddenly at the age of 53. “I show them to the children for transmission. (…) It's always a little complicated”, he indicates.

The host still continued by asking him which film by the famous actor had the most impact on him. To which Alexandre Villeret replied: “Summer on a Gentle Slope by Gérard Krawczyk because it is one of the films that touched me the most. I find the role magnificent.”
