Walid Regragui unveils his starting lineup against Gabon

Walid Regragui revealed, this Friday, November 15, his eleven players who will start the match against Gabon in Franceville, as part of the 5th day of the CAN 2025 qualifiers.

Walid Regragui decided to line up Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, Jamal Harkass and Nayef Aguerd in defense. Sofiane Amrabat, Azzedine Ounahi and Eliesse Ben Seghir will provide midfield while the attack is made up of Ayoub El Kaabi, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, and Brahim Diaz who marks his big return to the selection after a period of absence due to injury. Yassine Bounou will take care of the cages for the Atlas Lions.

Note that the Gabon-Morocco match is without major stakes, the two teams having already validated their qualification for CAN 2025. This qualification was notably facilitated by the victory of Lesotho against the Central African Republic, thus ensuring the Panthers’ passage to the final phase. As for Morocco, it will host this edition of the tournament.
