Victor Osimhen Joins Elite Ranks as Joint Second Highest Goalscorer for the Super Eagles

Nigeria’s forward, Victor Osimhenhas etched his name into the annals of football history by equalling the esteemed Segun Odegbami on the list of Nigeria’s all-time top scorers.

Osimhen reached this significant milestone during an intense encounter against the Benin Republic in a qualifier for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nationswhich concluded in a 1-1 stalemate on the evening of November 14.

Before kick-off, Osimhen, who was in third place on Nigeria’s all-time scorer list with 22 goals, demonstrated why he is in high demand. The 26-year-old, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napolishowcased his striking skills with a brilliant header, bringing the game to level terms in the 81st minute.
