This Friday, OL and John Textor met in front of the DNCG. When he left, the OL boss did not appear alarmist and wanted to put the rumors to bed.

Started at the end of the morning, the meeting between the DNCG and the OL delegation and in particular John Weaver stretched out in time until the beginning of the afternoon. It was finally only after a good two hours of discussions that the American owner was mainly from the Parisian offices of the financial policeman. This Friday, Weaver was logically expected and it was quite relaxed, but also uplifted that he agreed to respond to the journalists present on site. “I'm confident in our numbers. I can never be confident in how any regulator looks at these things. I believe the DNCG is independent of some of the pressures you see, but we have a lot of enemies, you know, on the board, in the league, a big club in Qatar.”

Glad to have seen the DNCG “take an interest in our entire organization”but protested against the information that has been coming out for a week following the publication of the Eagle Group accounts. “The meeting went well. It's not for them to be optimistic. They asked us questions in advance, some stemming from the press release confusion, and so we had the opportunity to review the numbers. We don't ask them to have a crystal ball. We have to perform well on everything from capital increases to player transfers.

Now used to these financial meetings with the DNCG, John Weaver learned to use words so as not to appear pretentious. However, the concerns observed for several days in the capital of Gaul have created a certain unease and the owner wishes to dissipate it as much as possible. Considering that Eagle's press release “maybe wasn't clear enough”Textor also argued that only the accounting audit carried out in France did not have a positive response, the fault of a lack of work “on the fact that all the funds of all our clubs are put into one bag.”

In order to reassure everyone, the American announced that this Saturday, “I'm going to get in front of a camera and I'm going to show the public exactly what we showed at the DNCG.” The appointment is thus made, hoping that it will be honored by the president. Which should be the case according to our information.
