Gabon-Morocco: the probable line-up of the Atlas Lions, with Bounou, Diaz and Mazraoui

While Yassine Bounou, Brahim Diaz and Noussair Mazraoui have recovered from their injuries, Walid Regragui should certainly line them up against Gabon this Friday, November 15 in Franceville.

The three Atlas Lions in good club form are major assets for the national team in order to continue its momentum in the qualifiers for the Morocco-2025 African Cup of Nations where it has won four victories in as many matches.

In defense, captain Achraf Hakimi and solid central defender Nayef Aguerd should be there, in addition to Jamal Harkass who was satisfactory during his first two selections.

In midfield, the essential players Sofyan Amrabat and Azzedine Ounahi should have their places in this starting eleven, in addition to Eliesse Ben Seghir who never ceases to amaze.

On the other hand, in the offensive sector, Soufiane Rahimi will not be in the game due to accumulation of cards. Regragui will have to rely on Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, author of remarkable matches with the Atlas Lions but also with his club, Real Betis, who decided to extend him until 2029.

For the top striker, the national coach will choose between Youssef En-Nesyri or Ayoub El Kaabi.

Below, Walid Regragui’s probable line-up against Gabon:

Goalkeeper: Yassine Bounou.

Defenders: Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd, Jamal Harkass, Noussair Mazraoui.

Field: Sofyan Amrabat, Azzedine Ounahi, Eliesse Ben Seghir.

Forwards: Brahim Diaz, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Youssef En-Nesyri or Ayoub El Kaabi.
