The sentencing court accepted, on Friday, November 15, the eleventh request for conditional release from pro-Palestinian activist Georges Ibrahim Abdallah. This Lebanese activist had been imprisoned for forty years for complicity in murder and had been free since 1999, the national anti-terrorism prosecutor's office (Pnat) announced to AFP, which announced its intention to appeal.
“By decision dated today, the sentence enforcement court admitted Georges Ibrahim Abdallah to the benefit of conditional release from December 6, subject to the condition of leaving the national territory and no longer appearing there”further detailed the Pnat in a press release. To franceinfo, the Pnat clarified that its appeal is suspensive.
