Emmanuel Maurel, Democratic and Republican Left (GDR) deputy for Val-d'Oise, was the political guest of franceinfo, Friday November 15.
The state budget for 2025 continues its journey through Parliament. “What I would especially like is for Michel Barnier to abandon the budgetary policy he wants to implement, which risks having very serious effects for the economy of this country”warns Emmanuel Maurel, Democratic and Republican Left (GDR) deputy for Val-d'Oise, Friday November 15 on franceinfo.
Emmanuel Maurel deplores the fact that the Prime Minister “obstinately refuses to look for money where it can be found, that is to say from the profits of large companies or from the very rich”. “The reality of the budget debate over the past three weeks is that the left has made proposals which, in my opinion, were constructive to reduce the deficit, to ensure that there is a little more tax justice And what we call the central bloc (…) has stubbornly refused to ensure that the very large fortunes and the very large companies which make profits participate in the economic life of this. country by paying a little more”affirms the GDR deputy, who sees “the main problem of the moment”.
