Assistants affair: the RN on trialdossier

The National Rally did not appreciate the severity of the sentences requested on Wednesday November 13 by the public prosecutor at the criminal court. However, it is only the reflection of a damning case for the three-time presidential candidate and the other defendants.

Anyone who knows the case at all and has attentively followed the debates before the 11th chamber of the Paris criminal court since the opening of the trial of the fictitious assistants of the RN on September 30 cannot be surprised by the severity of the requisitions made. by the prosecution on Wednesday November 13 against Marine Le Pen and her co-defendants. All are threatened, depending on their level of involvement in the alleged system of embezzlement of public funds, organized by the far-right party for twelve years and three European mandates, of penalties which, if they were followed (or aggravated? ) in the spring by the court, would bring an end to their careers for some. This is the case, for example, of Louis Aliot, current mayor of , against whom the prosecution requested eighteen months of imprisonment, twelve of which were suspended, a fine of 30,000 euros and three years of ineligibility with provisional execution and who should therefore give up his council chair.

The others risk between ten months in prison, a fine of 10,000 euros and one year of ineligibility.
