On this Thursday, November 14, there will be stubborn gray weather from the Channel coast to the North-East of France. The mistral and tramontane will blow between 50 and 80 km/h around the Gulf of Lion. Light frosts are expected in the sheltered plains and valleys from the southwest to the center-east (0 to -2°). But there will be a pleasant feeling in the afternoon in the sun over the entire southern half, announces the Weather Channel .

A morning with beautiful clearings in the south

Low clouds invade a northern third of the country while the sun imposes itself on the southern two thirds after the dissipation of rare patches of gray. The North-East wind blows moderately near the Atlantic. Mistral and tramontane are sustained around the Gulf of Lion with gusts of 50 to 80 km/h on the exposed coasts. The freshness is marked in the South and the East. Remember to protect your flowers and crops which may be susceptible to frost. Minimum temperatures are 1°C in Auvergne with another 12°C in Corsica.

An afternoon with some grayness in the North-East

The clouds are imposing themselves on the regions located north of the Loire and clearings are having a hard time appearing. Over a large southern half, the sun dominates most often and the feeling becomes pleasant in the sun and sheltered from the light North-East wind. The mistral remains strong in the lower Rhône valley and blows at 60-70 km/h in gusts. Temperatures range from 5°C in Strasbourg, up to 17°C in Ajaccio, passing through 11°C in the capital and 13°C in Bordeaux.

Low clouds in the evening

The weather remains calm and dry with low clouds still numerous in the North and clearer skies over a large southern half. The mistral blows moderately in the lower Rhône valley. Temperatures drop quickly where the sky is clear.

Trend of the next days

This Friday, November 15, the weather will persist with some gray weather in the North in the morning and nice clearings in the South. Morning temperatures are 6° to 10°C and 5° to 14°C in the afternoon. This Saturday, November 16, there will be a deterioration in the Gulf of Lion with much cloudier skies. Temperatures will remain below seasonal norms.
