Since November 8, the Canal+ group channel has launched a petition on the Internet before its decisive hearing on Friday before the Council of State.

In the space of five days, the petition launched by C8 to support the channel and save the jobs threatened by Arcom's decision not to renew its broadcast channel on TNT was signed by more than 560,000 people. “From February 28, the C8 channel, pioneer of DTT, could be forced to stop broadcasting. We, the signatories of this petition, would like to express our support for C8 and the 400 people threatened with losing their jobsdetails the Canal+ group channel. We therefore ask that the C8 channel be able to continue broadcasting, for the respect of viewers and the preservation of jobs. »

On Friday, the leaders of C8 will appear before the Council of State, the highest administrative court, to contest the decision of the audiovisual policeman. A decisive hearing for the future of the channel and its employees. An approach that NRJ12 will also take to avoid its disappearance in 2025. Nearly 30,000 messages of support have been published on the “I support NRJ12” page.

“These are never-before-seen figures, it could shake things up”declared Gilles Verdez Tuesday evening in “La Tribu de Baba”, a program prior to “Touche pas à mon poste!” », regarding the number of signatures on the C8 petition. Cyril Hanouna devoted his favorite to Pascal Praud's editorial, in “L'heure des pros” on CNews, where the journalist called for support from his colleagues in the Canal+ group.

For the host of “TPMP”, the decision taken by Arcom against C8 is down to one thing: the case Louis Boyard . “I'm not in the habit of letting things happen, Louis Boyard was my columnist and he managed to make a mess here. Without the Louis Boyard affair, we would have been reselected by Arcom”affirmed Cyril Hanouna while emphasizing that La Insoumise “messes up the debate” wherever she goes.
