The research ended on a positive note for the Doubs gendarmes.
This Monday, November 11, at 8:45 p.m., Alice, a 25-year-old young woman from Doubs and a student in Lille, was found safe and sound in Cussey-sur-l’Ognon, just 3 kilometers from Auxons station, no far from Besançon.
Having left the home of a relative located in Pouilley-les-Vignes last Friday, Alice had disappeared without taking her mobile phone, thus making the search particularly difficult. The last trace of her presence dates back to Saturday morning, where she was seen at a bus stop around midday, in Auxons.
She wore a black coat, a yellow scarf and glasses, according to information released in a call for witnesses launched on November 11 by the gendarmes.
Significant mobilization for fruitful research
Worried about her absence, Alice’s relatives quickly alerted the authorities. In response, around thirty gendarmes engaged in a vast search operation, carefully scanning the wooded areas and surroundings of Auxons.
It was finally a patrol that spotted the young woman walking along the side of the road in Cussey-sur-l’Ognon, at nightfall.
This happy outcome puts an end to several days of anguish for his family and friends, as well as a massive mobilization of the police.
