Drama in Haute-Savoie: the bodies of three young children found in a house, the mother currently wanted

Drama in Haute-Savoie. The police made a macabre discovery this Tuesday. Three bodies of children, aged 2, 11 and 13, were found in a house located in Taninges, a town near Morzine in the Alps, announces the Dauphiné Libéré.

A wanted relative

Emergency services were called around 12:30 p.m. but could only note the deaths, firefighters said. The mother is currently wanted by the police.

While the Bonneville public prosecutor, Boris Duffau, went to the site, it was the gendarmerie services which were responsible for the investigation. For the moment, the possibility of a family tragedy is favored but only investigations will be able to determine the exact circumstances of the facts.

The police are currently working to find the mother. For this, an important system is mobilized: “soldiers from the Bonneville company, the Chambéry Research Section, the Departmental Road Safety Squadron (EDSR) and the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) as well as technicians from the identification cell (CIC) of Haute-Savoie and the helicopter of the Chamonix Air Section, Choucas 74“according to the local daily.
