Headliner, the talented Kad Merad plays Lino, a stripped-down lawyer who has decided to leave everything behind for a musical road trip across France. Before the release scheduled for November 13, the cast gathered at the Cinémathèque de Paris for a new preview on Monday evening.
It was Kad Merad, joker as usual, who posed for the photocall. Beret in hand, the companion of the discreet Julia Vignali found the man who directed it, Claude Lelouch. Always a joker, the 60-year-old actor played photographer as soon as the director arrived. The star of “Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis” borrowed a camera to take a photo of his comrade, amused by the situation.

During an interview with Paris Match, Kad Merad and Claude Lelouch spoke about their unexpected meeting, shortly before the start of filming. The comedian came across the wife of his future director by chance on a train that he “almost missed”. He says: “I, who am rather shy in life, ended up confiding to him what I would never have dared to say to Claude, that I would dream of one day filming with him”. When he learns this anecdote, it is “obvious” for Claude Lelouch, who enthuses: “Kad Merad was the one I was looking for. It ticks all the boxes. »

After a few jokes, the two friends brought out their best smile during the official photos of the event. Kad Merad and Claude Lelouch then joined Michel Boujenah, for nice photos of the trio. Barbara Pravi, Kad Merad's partner in the film, was not present that evening. The 31-year-old songwriter decided to launch into the seventh art, she who was mainly known for her singing talents. Invited by Claude Lelouch to play Barbara in “Finally”, the artist held the preview at the Grand Rex alongside the other members of the film, on October 30.
