Jerry Jones’ daughter, Charlotte Jones, who is also the Exec VP/CBO of the Cowboys is trying to cheer the ladies with some good news. Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is on the way. Charlotte Jones confirmed it in her latest IG Story. But there’s still some time left before people get some cheerleading lessons from America’s Sweethearts.
Charlotte Jones shared a Netflix IG reel that was titled, “PSA start stretching and get your high kick ready because AMERICA’S Sweet Hearts: DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS is coming back for season 2!!! ????????” The video shows the cheerleaders dancing around with their usual pizzazz.
The first season of DCC left the audience amazed as it showed some IRL moments of these cheerleaders’ lives. As reported by various outlets, the show was an instant hit and was listed as a top 10 US TV show for five weeks straight. But the impact of this show was way beyond America, as it was also breaking the charts in 27 other countries, per Variety.
Season 2 will revolve around their lives in the 2024-2025 season and perhaps, people can add some new moves into their routines. We know that the show is supposed to premiere in 2025, but we don’t know when. But until that happens, the Cowboys owner has other things to worry about.

In 2008, Jerry Jones revealed that he was inspired by a Celine Dion concert to put up huge screens in the AT&T Stadium. He spent $45 million on 2,160-inch screens that stretched for 60 yards. The billionaire owner took inspiration from French art, and selected all sorts of stones that would enhance the look of this facility, but forgot how to cover up the glaring sun.
Fast forward to 2024, the giant red ball in the sky became a problem in the game against the Eagles when CeeDee Lamb missed a touchdown pass intended for him. The problem might have been ever present since the inception of the stadium. The media questioned him about installing curtains in the facility and the WR was “1000%” sure of it and said that he “couldn’t see the ball at all.”

The Cowboys owner seemed irritated when the media confronted him about installing some curtains into the facility. Per Jon Machota of The Athletic, “Well, let’s tear the da-n stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me? Everybody has got the same thing.” The billionaire tycoon further added, “Every team that comes in here has the same issues. I’m saying the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where’s the moon?”
Yeah, that reply comes off as a bit arrogant and the last bit doesn’t even make sense. So, the Cowboys owner wouldn’t install some curtains just to maintain the vision he had for the stadium? The owner’s mentality kind of reflects why the Dallas Cowboys aren’t winning games. This stubbornness must go away.
